[edit]Anybody have a reference for the etymology? Since Mania apparently derives from PIE *men-, "to think" (as does Manes), and since ancient Greek mantis ("seer") also derives from *men-, perhaps Mantus also does. Or maybe this is just an extraordinary coincidence and Mantus is from Etruscan... Alexander 007 05:33, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
