Date
[edit]No doubt a Norman knight might expect a reward for "help in conquering Pembrokeshire after 1003." But the date was in the Anglo-Saxon period. Should it be 1103? Sjwells53 (talk) 18:07, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Images
[edit]It is difficult to judge what is best to illustrate the page. The castle is dominant, but perhaps not best for the page on the village, the castle page is well illustrated. A long distance view of the village might be best, but there is not one yet on commons suitable. Someone may come up with a drone pic. I am substituting the village street pic which I hope to be bettered soon. The three pics in the Tourism section other than the pan, do not justify their inclusion on the page, IMO, just in commons. Please delete if in agreement. Beware my prejudices as some of the images are mine. SovalValtos (talk) 21:41, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
Origin of the name
[edit]not Manor of Pyr, but Stone of Pyr from Cymraeg Maen = stone. Refers to the stunning Dolmen (Dol Maen) overlooking Manorbier beach. 146.90.127.207 (talk) 18:19, 20 April 2025 (UTC)
