117.199.210.225 on 9 Aug 2020 corrected the article regarding its name. According to this revision made, the ghat is named for the queen and not vice-versa. Manikrnika is one of the oldest ghats in Varanasi, 1000 of years old, and named for the goddess Sati's ear ornament that fell here. There is no way it is named for the Queen. the question remains if the queen is named for the ghat or not. She was born near Assi ghat in Varanasi and named Manikarnika. It stands to reason to reason that she will be named for the ghat, though I have not found an online source to verify this. Rajivkrai (talk) 13:49, 13 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
