There are now sufficient external links to validate removing the editorial caution. Manifesta (talk) 11:36, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Very good and essential material on artists and curators but also non-essential PR/Marketing

[edit]

As any serious scholar of contemporary art in Europe will say the Manifesta Biennial is progressive and innovative while Venice Biennale is for the artists of the establishment. All in all there should be more materials on the artists and curators as they are mainly 'important' or 'groundbreaking' in their own contexts. So I think the article can be reduced - Manifesta 8 and to smaller extent Manifesta 7 have elements which are not important for an encyclopaedia; essentially materials about the artists and curators should be there and much less about administration? There are many important artists and curators with no Wikipedia articles about them. Sorenonilsson (talk) 23:59, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

One solution is to give each version of Manifesta it's own article as there is so much detail. This is similar to giving a page to any olympiad in any year. Sorenonilsson (talk) 00:02, 19 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
