This distinction refers to the two parties from their choices to either go back or remain. It has no bearing on the succession issues save to say it is now being abused due to proximity to colonial government administration of the house of Chibanda and/or Katerere. Munhuwepayi (Chioko or Kanhata) was formally ordained as chief through traditional protocol without influence of colonial administration.
