Clarification needed - historical county
[edit]While acknowledging it was in an area straddling the Montgomeryshire and Merionethshire county borders, it lacks clarification in what exact county the parish (the church particularly) stood in.Cloptonson (talk) 21:14, 21 February 2016 (UTC)
Tre'r llan
[edit]I've removed the section that said "The village was formerly[when?] named 'Tre'r llan'". I can't find any historical evidence for this. Tre'r llan is an old name, but I don't think it's what Mallwyd was once called. I'd be interested if anyone has evidence to the contrary. Railfan23 (talk) 03:29, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
Robert Vaughn (Montana rancher) (Notable people section)
[edit]I feel proof is needed that Robert Vaughn came from Mallwayd. His wiki biography only says, vaguely, the family came "from near the village of Dinas Mawddwy" without indicating a place name.Cloptonson (talk) 18:53, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
