I believe the correct and appropriate binomial would be C. delesserti (Malherbes, ?) - the date is in question because his 1849 name lacks a description and seems to be a nomen nudum - but he gave a full description with the binomial in 1862. Jerdon, Hume, E.C. Stuart Baker, and Salim Ali use C. delesserti (Malherbes, 1848/9). I have raised this with the IOC folks and will note updates here.
