Please delete 2005 - GMAC RE created the Dedicated Financial Trust.[9] 1999 - MIC RE, as part of GMAC Financial Services, was rebranded GMAC RE. 1990 - Motors Insurance Corporation (MIC) formed MIC RE through the acquisition of Motors Re Management Corporation (MRMC). 1986 - MRMC expanded its reinsurance underwriting to include property and casualty treaty. 1983 - MRMC was established and began underwriting property and casualty reinsurance.

The milestones listed relate to GMAC RE, a company that pre-existed Maiden and was acquired by Maiden in 2008.
