This company was important for data visualization in the early 2000s
[edit]The acquisition by Halliburton for $100 million in 2001 is notable. The patent for visualization technology is notable and the company was mentioned in Gas and Oil exploration journals at the time. The technology they developed is foundational to visualization of gas and oil deposits. This makes it notable in its field. I collected articles, statements from Halliburton, a patent as well as multiple journal entries from the time to document the existence of Magic Earth in the late 90s to early 2000s.
On a side note, the company seems to have disappeared and the only trace of being disbanded is the selling of their domain name around 2006. Llehsadam (talk) 19:49, 2 September 2025 (UTC)
