Spinels
[edit]I'm not an expert, but when this article refers to 'spinels', it links to a specific mineral known as "Spinel", which is just one of a larger class of minerals known as the Spinel group.
"Spinel" is a magnesium/aluminium mineral, but it is linked when referring to spinels containing iron, such as when it is linked under the 'Occurrence' sub-heading.
If someone is more experienced, please verify whether this article is referring to (one of) the spinel group, or the magnesium/aluminium mineral confusingly known simply as "Spinel". BlueGalahad (talk) 06:21, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
