This article has more than a few issues, which I intend to address. Among them are:
1. The article should be about the tribe, confederation, ancestry group rather than the (semi-legendary) founder. The figure himself should be discussed in the article, but he is actually not the focus of the subject: his descent group is.
2. The title should be shortened to just Ma’ad or Ma’add.
3. the article relies almost entirely on old primary sources, or newer sources whose credibility is questionable. These should be replaced with secondary sources, primary ones being used only in a limited way.

@Al Ameer son@Pogenplain I have moved this article to the name of the tribe, rather than its founder, per the technical move request of Pogenplain. If you two could help adjust the prose to make clear that the article is now mainly focused on the tribe and not just the founder as a person, that'd be awesome!
