• Oppose, the name in this case is not unambiguous. The ship is not the primary topic for "Pulau Pinang", so some form of disambiguation is needed. CMD (talk) 12:26, 12 September 2026 (UTC)

Oppose, but I support removing the "MV" prefix per your reasoning. The problem is Pulau Pinang is already a redirect to Penang. Maybe use "Pulau Pinang (ship)" instead? LEE 003 (talk) 06:12, 14 September 2026 (UTC)
