I'm concerned that the operating income listed on this bank is woefully outdated.

Unbalanced and incomplete?

I just feel that the whole article is unbalanced. It talks a fair bit about the formation, which is fine in itself (though one sentence about the merger of UBS is irrelevant), and then launches straight into a whole long list of controversies, which makes up more than 2/3rds of the page. There's nothing about its actual operations - how many countries, branches (there's a one liner giving 2009 data as if it were still current), do they have a securities house, consumer finance, relationship to MUFG - the parent group, etc. etc.?

Apart from a very little bit about the history of Mitsubishi Bank, its components' history are almost ignored. We're told there was "infighting" between employees of the former banks within UFJ (presumably Sanwa, Tokai and Toyo Trust, though it's not even clear if that was the final line-up), with no reference - nor any indication if the merger with Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi improved or exacerbated the merger pains.

Overall it has huge gaps, and I'm not sure about the neutral point of view. I can't really help out with facts, (I was actually looking for info about the former Tokai Bank, which forwards to this page - and there's an internal link that is circular).
