[edit]I'm wanting to restore this talk page. Why was it deleted in the first place?

Removed the citation: "MTX Audio's parent company, Mitek Corporation, patented the square speaker design, which has more surface area for its nominal diameter as it is not measured diagonally. The patent was filed and published in 2007.[1]"
This is clearly a misrepresentation; the patent cited is for a speaker surround corner molding that is only cosmetically different from the previously-patented Kicker square speaker surround corner molding. They certainly didn't invent the square speaker. 73.37.4.129 (talk) 09:37, 10 December 2017 (UTC)
