I reason that if Wikipedia can have long chronological lists of artworks by oldschool painters, and it does, then it can have long chronological lists of artworks by newer art collectives. The main problem was probably the citations, because the list was just linking to the websites themselves, which is maybe not encyclopedic: does it make sense to have a list of artworks that just direct link to the artworks, without citing any third party? Also, there was not always a date at the websites that told you when the drop happened, either, which meant the dates listed were uncited information, even if you accept the idea of citing artworks by linking them directly. The wayback machine could serve as proof of the drop dates, but I'm not sure if it's proper to cite that? Ideally, for each drop, you might be able to find a reliable art news site reporting on the drop and the date it happened. I'm sure that would be the most acceptable method. In the meantime, the list itself and the website links could be uploaded to the mschf fandom wiki, so that people can still find the information. OrangeCroutons (talk) 05:19, 23 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
