I'd like to have a "TKB" revert to this page because it is much more commonly known as an abbreviation for this portal (as seen on google hits and news media citations) but i'm having trouble figuring out how to do it. Any help would be appreciated. Davidw11115:55, 8 August 2006 (UTC)Davidw111Reply
The TKB ceased operation on March 31st, 2008 with no clear replacement. There are few details on their website, but it does state that some of the activities will be taken over by the Global Terrorism Database (GTD). I have created a Wikipedia page for the GTD as I could find no entries on the topic.

GTD does merit a separate article. It is the successor to the TKB in that it used its data as a starting point and has continued on, with expanding information. It is also the largest, most comprehensive database on terrorism available. This page should not be combined with or reverted to the TKB page. The GTD is not an expansion or continuation of the TKB, which used RAND-MIPT event data. The two sources of data are independent. The only connection between them is that START, which maintains the GTD, also hosts an archive of the TKB's organizational profiles (which are unrelated to the GTD). --Eemiller1101 (talk) 22:14, 2 July 2010 (UTC).Reply
