Article Creation Note
[edit]This article currently consolidates all pre Atock MGWR 2-4-0 as their is little information for some and most articles would simple be stubs if separated. Redirect page with categories have been created for all but the lead article to keep the categories good. If sufficient becomes known for a particular class it may be appropriate to develop the redirect.
Avonside Class 18
[edit]- The Source Clements on page 85 describes these engines as not working the limited mails but on p.88 for the 7-12 class picture information describes the class 18 as Avonside mail engines which is almost contradictory.
- Warning: some Class 18 images in circulation may in fact be Class 7-12.
- There may be a case for merging Class 18 and Class 7-12 but it may cause as many issues as it solves.Djm-leighpark (talk) 07:23, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
