NTSB docket on Green Line crash as potential reliable source

The NTSB recently posted its docket for a rear-ending between two Green Line trains in February 2025 here:

From a quick skim, are some potentially useful documents for this article as sources, including:

A general specifications document:

A Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities investigation into crashworthiness concerns over the Type 7, which could merit discussion in the article. They note 3 separate prior crashes where the Type 7 performed poorly in the crash with significant cab or structural damage, whereas Type 8's involved in the same or similar crashes sustained far less damage. The reports directs the MBTA to assess lowering the maximum allowed speed of Type 7 trains and using Type 8s as leading vehicles in the consist.
