Writer credit
[edit]The Deadline article from 2023 says The sequel’s script is being penned by Akela Cooper
. The teaser poster from February 2025 has Gerard Johnstone credited as writer and Cooper with "based on characters by". So, do we know who wrote the sequel? Mike Allen 15:05, 9 February 2025 (UTC)
- Turns out the final WGA credit is: Screenplay by: Gerard Johnstone and Story by: Johnstone and Akela Cooper. Mike Allen 13:35, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
Genre
[edit]More sources are needed for the genre. The swapping around and/or adding different genres (horror/action) is out of control. I propose we leave it at just science fiction film until more coverage is done by third party sources. Mike Allen 13:37, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
- The director of the film has confirmed that it’ll still be in the horror genre. 2600:1017:B118:5F23:819C:112B:76AD:3B0B (talk) 19:15, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- Ok. Where is the source? Mike Allen 20:18, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- I added the original source. Mike Allen 20:19, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- Would it be appropriate to label it as “science fiction action horror”? That should essentially cover all our bases. No need to add “comedy horror”, as I believe even though it’s a little more campy and humorous, humor is not the central focus but instead ups the action ante a lot more a la Aliens. Genre post-release
[edit]It appears a lot of reviews are labeling it a sci fi action thriller. Mike Allen 22:32, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah. All the reviews are unanimous in that they're not describing it as a horror film. So, definitely "science fiction action", at the least. I'm conflicted about adding "thriller" or "comedy" though. Even though I've seen the film over in Australia, I'm still not quite sure. We can change it to just "science fiction action" for now. Whether or not to add "thriller" or "comedy" is still up for further discussion. Draco9904 (talk) 10:04, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- It still has horror elements, according to the article. 2603:7080:A700:A913:F802:8E1:D693:8F5A (talk) 16:18, 26 June 2025 (UTC)

- I personally have seen the film and I can say that there’s are definitely a few scenes that play out and are portrayed like a horror film. Especially near the first 30 minutes. 2603:7080:A700:A913:9DAE:2860:D531:F7A1 (talk) 16:40, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah, we no longer use Valnet sites as a reliable source for this type of reporting. See WP:RS/VALNET. Mike Allen 18:05, 28 June 2025 (UTC)
- Even then, per WP:WEIGHT, we wouldn't apply it as it seems relatively minor in compared the much more widespread weight of the other sources. I'd like to cite this as a good example of why we probably shouldn't bank on genres until a third-party source can actually see the content of the works. Andrzejbanas (talk) 15:11, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

Christian name pronounciation?
[edit]Should we include the correct pronounciation of Christian's name (Chris-tea-ahn)? Just asking. HiGuys69420 (talk) 23:36, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- How is it “actually pronounced like that”? He’s addressed as just Christian. Mike Allen 20:18, 22 July 2025 (UTC)
- Ok thanks for the reply! I will be shortly reverting my edit. Thanks! HiGuys69420 (talk) 20:32, 22 July 2025 (UTC)

Actors
[edit]In today's movie buff world, there's a trend to discuss the most memorable dance sequences in films. For example, everyone knows that the Wednesday dance, which went viral online, was performed by Jenna Ortega in the first season of "Wednesday," and in the second season of "Wednesday," the "death dance" performed by Enid Sinclair and Agnes DeMille was performed by Emma Myers and Evie Templeton. In the film "M3GAN", Megan's dance, which also went viral online, is performed by Amie Donald. And here we come to a question that's quite difficult to find an answer to online: Who dances Megan's dance in the movie "M3GAN 2.0"?
For those who didn't know. Megan's dance on the podium in the movie “M3GAN 2.0”, performed by Chinese popping dancer Hu Lilu (胡李璐), stage name Barbin.ili.
Hu Lilu was born in Wenzhou, China, on November 6, 1995. She is a professional dancer, appears in commercials, and works in theatrical atmosphere. She resides in Hangzhou, China.
