I think this is more usually called the "zonal cavity method" because of the cookbook of factors based on room geometry. This needs some tables to illustrate the concepts, and a good description of the limitations. Does anyone still use this method, now that computers are cheap,good, and plentiful? And how about some *history* of the method?
