Alpin or Moray

[edit]

He is listed in the article as being the last of the House of Alpin but in the Kings of Scots page he is listed as being in the House of Moray can whoever wrote the article please clear this up?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.135.77.85 (talkcontribs) 21:47, 19 March 2006‎

Removed the offending sentence: Either Lulach wasn't of the line of the "mac Alpin" kings at all (his descent from the eponymous ancestor passed through the female line, his mother being the daughter of a grandson of Cinaed mac Maíl Choluim) or he wasn't the last one (Máel Coluim mac Donnchada, and indeed Kings John, Robert I and Robert II, being as much, or as little, "mac Alpins" as Lulach).
