Complaints in the Peruvian hierarchy

[edit]

The reference n.9 of the current version (oldid 938235838) related to the Latinamerica Press. Lima, Peru: Noticias Aliadas: 98. 1988, can't be verified given that the URL and the title aren't provided.

I think it has to be removed or at least it needs template:cn. Any comment would be appreciated.Micheledisaveriosp (talk) 10:30, 10 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

I’ve repaired that citation as much as I can. If you want to verify it you can locate a hard copy of the journal, vol 20 (1988), p 98. I had omitted the volume number previously. (Note that sources don’t have to be verifiable online.) The url I’ve included only gets you to a snippet from that page that doesn’t include the info. If you search books.google.com for this—nuncio dossena peru "so long"—you see "Some high-placed clergy complain that papal nuncio Luigi Dossena has come to have exaggerated power in the naming of bishops,".
