This page should not be speedy deleted because... Its 100% relevant. This is a 2 day music festival in the middle of St. Louis, Missouri featuring national and local bands. Its attendance is 15 - 20,000 over 2 days and its entirely deserving of a Wikipedia entry. The festival was created in 2010 and its Wikipedia page was deleted in 2010 due to "notoriety" problems. This should not be an issue anymore. There is no mention of advertisers or sponsors on the page and i deleted all of the info about the food vendors and festival organizers. The website is www.loufest.com. I will attach several links verifying its existence and worthiness. Here is a story about the festival from FILTER Magazine. http://filtermagazine.com/index.php/news/entry/festival_watch_loufest_announces_kid-friendly_area_k. Here is another story from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch http://www.stltoday.com/entertainment/music/kevin-johnson/article_288ae420-6bd2-11e0-bc71-001a4bcf6878.html. If Bonnaroo, Coachella, and Lollapalooza are permitted to have pages why not LouFest? If there is something wrong with the format this is submitted in please tell me what i can do to correct it. Thank you. --Rtoma321 (talk) 04:52, 5 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

For a start, stop removing the tags. That can lead to you being blocked from editing, and it doesn't help your case. (Someone will just put them back anyway.) Try to get a few more references. But remember WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS... Peridon (talk) 14:29, 5 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

"If Bonnaroo, Coachella, and Lollapalooza are permitted to have pages why not LouFest?" See: WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS
"Its 100% relevant"
"its entirely deserving of a Wikipedia entry"
"I will attach several links verifying its existence and worthiness"
Sorry to tell you but so far you have not made an argument to help the article's case. All of these claims and explanations are meaningless. Please read the rules. Wikipedia is not looking for "worthiness", "proof of existence" or "being deserving", but for an assertion of notability through verifiable, reliable sources. -- Alexf(talk) 17:26, 5 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
