Reinstating and expanding this article

I have reinstated this article since there seems to be good evidence of the Langbourne having existed (see sources cited in the article) and it appears on maps of Londinium. It is unclear why it was originally turned into a redirect. Agrestis (talk) 06:37, 27 December 2022 (UTC)

Langbourne → Lorteburn – The name Lorteburn is the one printed on maps and referenced in scientific literature. See the article references for numerous examples. Lorteburn has a toponym with an understood meaning that can be referenced and which makes sense in the context of this stream (see article). 'Langbourne' seems to have been first used by John Stow and may well have been invented by him as a back-formation from the name of the city ward. John Stow is known to have invented toponyms in this way (see Barton). Agrestis (talk) 12:27, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
