Also consolidated some redundant language (live loads / continuity; wedge “prestressing” discussion). Expanded Patent history to reflect the sequence of 1830–1839 patents more clearly (using the SIA source for numbering/identification). Clarified the Long → Howe transition with better sourcing (HAER/Griggs) and cleaner force-path language. General citation cleanup: fixed a few orphan tags, split mixed cites, and standardized page ranges.
