Distance units

[edit]

Articles for UK topics generally give precedence to imperial units of distance. Why are caves different? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:58, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Martinevans123 Probably because, inevitably, most of the UK caving articles have been written by UK cavers who tend to use metric units. Langcliffe (talk) 19:05, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Is this not trumped by EngvarB? No issue with French caves being measured in metres! Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 19:07, 8 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
