History of ownership.

[edit]

As a family member who had the amazing opportunity to experience life in this structure, I am disappointed that my family's ownership, care and maintenance of it has never been acknowledged. 28 years of its history is missing. My father and uncle were engineers and resouceful men who were committed to maintaining the cabin and all its working parts. Since the forest service acquired ownership, the cabin has deteriorated in so many ways. The water tower is a dump site and what was a shining gem of a structure is being allowed to decay. The stone structure will remain. The vibrant life lived within its walls is forever gone. Guardian of history I know (talk) 21:57, 4 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
