Proposed Update: Reflect Volumes 1–14 and Current Publisher

I would like to propose factual updates to the LogoLounge article. I have a conflict of interest to disclose: I work with the LogoLounge team and am therefore not editing the article directly. Instead, I’m posting this request here for review and independent editing by neutral contributors, per Wikipedia’s Conflict of Interest and Reliable Sources guidelines.

The article currently references the book series only through Volume 9 and lists outdated publisher information. The following proposed revisions would update factual details through Volume 14 (as of 2025) and clarify the publishing timeline. The language remains neutral and verifiable.

Intro paragraph (replacement)

LogoLounge is an online membership-based database and community for logo design research and reference. It was founded in 2002 by designer Bill Gardner, principal of Gardner Design in Wichita, Kansas. The platform allows members to search and organize logos, access articles and design trend reports, and connect with other designers. It has become a commonly cited resource for observing developments in brand identity design. [citation needed]

History section (expansion)

LogoLounge launched in 2002 with the goal of creating a searchable archive of professional logo designs. Since its founding, the database has grown to include hundreds of thousands of submissions from designers and studios worldwide. The platform also publishes an annual Logo Trends Report, which summarizes visual and conceptual trends observed across logo submissions each year. The report has been referenced by design publications including Communication Arts and Creative Bloq. [citation needed]

Books section (revision)
