The following was moved from the article. Undoubtedly it belongs to the article but it needs to be put with context. Without the context, it makes little sense(e.g., I can’t understand what this is).

Let  c: C ~> X * X be a correspondence with C and X quasi-projective schemes over an algebraically closed field k. We show that if ul: c1*Ql ~>c2!Ql is an action defined by the localized Chern classes of a c 2-perfect complex of vector bundles on C, where ℓ is a prime invertible in k, then the local terms of ul are given by the class of an algebraic cycle independent of ℓ.

Article references content that does not exist

The first sentence of the section "Example: localized Euler class" currently reads as follows: "Let $f:X\to S$ be as in #Definitions." However, in the "Definitions" section, there is no mention of a map $f$ nor a space $S$. Bizarrely, when this section was added (on the 29th August 2019?) the "Definitions" section was almost identical to its current form, and did not mention $f$ or $S$.

This, of course, seriously disadvantages anyone who is trying to learn about this topic, and I urge anyone who knows what this is supposed to mean (unfortunately not me!) to edit the article accordingly. Splodge5 (talk) 15:01, 17 November 2025 (UTC)
