I think the mechanism as described is not correct? The article says that they would describe a random person they saw that day and challenge people to identify them. I don't think this makes sense - how would that person not being involved in the scheme respond to the challenge?; other sources have it that they challenged people to identify the newspaper journalists visiting the town under the Lobby Lud pseudonym.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Rmcubed (talkcontribs) 13:10, 25 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
