LDC (formerly known as Lloyds Development Capital) is a private equity investor and part of Lloyds Banking Group, providing growth capital to medium-sized businesses across the United Kingdom.

Established in 1981, the firm operates through a network of 10 regional offices and invests across sectors spanning businesses services, consumer, healthcare, ICT, industrials, media and technology. Since 2015, it has invested £3.7bn in 176 businesses.

Proposed updates to the Operations section

I work for LDC and would like to propose some factual updates to this section to bring it up to date.

A. Remove 'In 1991, investment exceeded £30 million for the first time and in, 2001, LDC completed its 300th investment. By 2007, investment exceeded £300 million and it completed its 400th investment.' This information is out of date.

B. Remove the table of UK subsidiaries and reference to LDC Asia, as well as the 2016 Evening Standard Business Awards (all old / out of date).

C. Propose adding the following factual, sourced updates:

1. LDC invests between £10m and £50m in UK-headquartered businesses. It looks for:

• An exceptional and committed management team
• A UK-headquartered business in any sector
• A clear and ambitious growth strategy
• A track record of year-on-year growth
• Actual or forecast profits of at least £1m per year
