This article only begins to do its subject justice. I remember watching the Lloyd Thaxton show when I was in 6th grade outside Philadelphia in 1964-65 every afternoon at 4. It was great, I remember the Byrds, Sonny & Cher and various other groups being on there. I think the Stones and the Beatles were on it at one point. Father of the video?
[edit]The claim that “Lloyd Thaxton is today known as the father of music videos” is neither given a citation here, nor is he mentioned in the Wikipedia article on the subject which is linked to. I’d never heard of him in that context - is there any basis to it? Jock123 (talk) 19:11, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
