can you edit the article title to redirect from "Live PA" (with the space)? I know people may confuse it with Live PA systems, but I think "Live PA Systems" and "Public Announcement Systems" would better clarify.

Hi everyone, Rhythm Droid here, December 2007... This page is gonna need some serious work, live electronic music performance is becoming quite significant these days... I'd love it if this page were the definitive resource on the web for reference and education on live PAs.

I'm adding some content about the popularity of laptop-based livePAs and also the subject of "degree of liveness".

One major task that will get this page really rolling is to go to the Wikipedia pages of live performing artists like Daft Punk, Underworld, Jamie Lidell, etc etc, locate a reference to their live performances, and link them to this page.

Come on everyone, let's make this page awesome!! Rhythm droid (talk) 06:09, 24 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

the true meaning?

[edit]

I've always known Live PA stands for "live performance act". I might be mistaken but then so are many people who do and book live pa's on a regular basis. In fact "live personal appearance" doesn't make much sense because it applies to a DJ just as well. Good sources for verification, anyone? Z99 (talk) 20:43, 19 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
