Overall organization & display of the page

[edit]

This page is a wonderful repository of information. However, the page's length makes it unwieldy to navigate, and the navbox is itself difficult to survey because only part of it will display on the page. The high-level division into (1) Greek and Latin classics, (2) the Qu'ran, (3) Modern and medieval literature and (4) Philosophy doesn't seem especially principled. Can we do better? Reorganisation

[edit]

This list has got a bit chaotic, divided variously by language/period/subject at different points and with several later authors sneaking into the medieval section. I suggest mirroring the chronological structure in History of literature - any objections? Jacketpocket (talk) 13:05, 5 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
