Pruning

[edit]

Usually, a list of notable items only consists of items with their own article. So it is clear a severe pruning is necessary. The Banner talk 17:04, 11 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

As no objections are raised, I will start removing the programs without an own article in ten days time (i.e. from 15 December). The Banner talk 11:23, 5 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Mass removal

[edit]

As announced last October and last December, I have now completed the removal of all software packages that were deemed not notable. Notable defined as having its own Wikipedia-article. The Banner talk 10:45, 5 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

FEM-Design (StruSoft) missing from list

[edit]

FEM-Design by StruSoft appears to be missing from this list. It is a 3D structural analysis and finite element analysis software package that has been in commercial use since the early 1990s, is used by structural engineers across Eurocode countries, and has an active student licence programme used in universities. It is comparable to other tools already listed such as RFEM and STAAD. Suggested addition: | FEM-Design | 3D structural analysis and finite element design software for concrete, steel and timber structures according to Eurocode, developed by StruSoft | Sources: https://www.capterra.com/p/187648/FEM-Design/ and https://strusoft.com/software/3d-structural-analysis-software-fem-design/ Disclosure: I work for StruSoft. I am raising this on the Talk page rather than editing directly in line with WP:COI guidelines. TateyLegEnd (talk) 09:20, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

StruSoft also has an existing Wikipedia article in Swedish: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strusoft TateyLegEnd (talk) 09:22, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
