COI - I'm the founder & CEO of Windward Studios which is a product on this list. This list has numerous products on it that are not reporting. They're Business Intelligence, data analytics, and word processors. I think this list should be reduced down to the products that are truly reporting software products. However, because of my COI, while I'm happy to suggest, I can't do this. Any thoughts on should this be done? DavidThi808 (talk) 20:41, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
Who deleted the main article for active reports by data dynamics ?
Although they are a small co and their software is a pain to use it would appear for many to be the only viable alternative to crystal other than MS Reporting Services, and therefore needing a place on wikipedia if wikipedia want to be a complete resource ! - Do you mean "JetReports"? Either way, I removed that entry since I could not locate a corresponding Wikipedia article. — Satori Son 14:16, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Why only Wikipedia articles?
[edit]The lists in this article contain this comment: "Entries that do not link to a Wikipedia article will be removed." Why is this a requirement for inclusion on the list?
Any reason why d3.js is under commercial software?
[edit]d3.js is open source licensed under BSD (which is an approved OSI open source license). I don't see a reason why it's under the commercial software section, and I'm going to move it (might also go through and find the rest of the open source projects there). d3.js is listed but LaTeX and typst are not?
[edit]It seems to me that they fill a similar niche, and I know that both LaTeX and typst are used commercially for report generation (e. g. Zerodha uses typst for reports in the brokerage business). Thoughts on including them, before I simply do it? Xjs. (talk) 11:17, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
