Orphaned articles with "effect" in their titles
[edit]After the completion of the list for July, I found these articles by searching for the character string "effect" in the first seven months of 2009 at Category:Orphaned articles. Some of them might require changes in capitalization (see WP:MOS#Article titles, headings, and sections), but I might want to check external sources before making such changes. One of them might require the removal of the definite article.

[edit]- Adverse Effect Wage Rate -- not an effect

- I moved most of the ones with wrong case, and did a few other improvements, and some AfDs. Dicklyon (talk) 05:20, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you. I have added 24 of those links to the list. I did a Google search for "(the) binary effect", and the future for the article appears bleak. -- Wavelength (talk) 05:31, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Special effects listed
[edit]This list includes the special effects "Flaming sword (effect)", "Cosmic Sphere (effect created in 9 september 2018)", "Super Duper High Pitched (effect created in 2015)", and "Super Duper Low Pitched (effect created in 2015)". Seeing as the list is about scientific phenomena, these should not be on the list, right? Or is the list broad enough to include special effects? Butters-the-Biscuit (talk) 01:47, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- Update: I have decided to remove these. If I am mistaken, feel free to correct me. Butters-the-Biscuit (talk) 01:22, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
