The Trouble in Northern Ireland

In reference to the troubles in Northern Ireland - how can 5.4 lives be taken? Also the troubles took more lives than that. 13 were killed in Bloody Sunday alone. I was just wondering how this could be. I don't know how many lives were taken during the troubles but it would have been well over a hundred. mspence835 - 24th of November 2009

Soviet Turkish War

I can not find any Soviet Turkish war on the internet. And on the Wikipedia article Soviet Union–Turkey relations it shows no war taking place in 1917 or 1918.Ingmar Elfsborg (talk) 23:40, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

Yellow Vests?

Rollback of edits by blocked sock

In this edit, dozens of edits by block-evading sock Cherteau (talk · contribs) were removed. Mixed in with the sock's editing, were several good edits which were inadvertently removed in this rollback, namely, these:

• rev. 981309438 by User:Mzajac
• rev. 981200633 by User:FDW777
• rev. 981145636 by User:72.255.127.130 (vandalism; will not be reinstalled)
• rev. 979710815 by User:Achim55

These edits may be moot if they were fixes to edits by the sock, in which case, nothing needs to be done. However, if you believe your edit is still valid and should be in the article, I will re-insert for you upon request, or you may do it yourself. Let me know what you prefer. Not wars.

The yellow vest movement is not a war. The definition of a war is 'War is an armed struggle between peoples or states.' You can't call this a war. The same applies to: The Cold War II and the Corsican Conflict. ongoing wars

Dissident Irish Republican Campaign should be removed because after the Good Friday Agreement, there have more or less been skirmishes and bomb scares with little or no warfare or casualties. The Republicans usually phone or warn before they set a bomb off. It is not on par with other wars that involve two or more countries disputing territories. Mention of Dorian Invasion

Inclusion criteria

Hello FarSouthNavy. The entries that you restored were disputed from the beginning and you could say that they were edit warred into the article by another editor. I think this article has a problem with vagueness. The introduction seems to imply that only militarized conflicts are to be included. Yet the article also includes police operations such as almost all of the disputed entries that you restored, except for the Gošince attack (where there was not even combat). I think this should be addressed and it should be more clear what can be included in the article. Because if we're going by this logic, then even protests, riots, diplomatic disputes and etc, can be included. StephenMacky1 (talk) 22:07, 26 December 2025 (UTC)

Should the Iran War be considerd as one of these Wars?

i am saying this and many people say that cyprus and azerbajian are in europe and that the drone struck a UK base and in azerbajian. And people were injured in azerbajian and a french solider died. Should it count? I think so. ~2026-16759-25 (talk) 21:30, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
