Season 9: Michael Chambers

[edit]

An editor has inserted a note that Michael Chambers was "declared legally dead on May 27, 2017" (just over two months after his disappearance), citing as the source the Discovery programme about the case. As a resident of the UK, I have not yet been able to view this programme, so I am unable to confirm that. However, I have found online a news report (at https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Family-Wants-Answers-in-Missing-Retired-Firefighters-Disappearance-448544183.html) dated September 28, 2017, in which there is no reference to such an event; indeed, the family are reported as still hoping Chambers would be found alive, in which case they would not have applied to have him declared legally dead. Is there someone else who has seen the Discovery programme and who can confirm that this information is included? Blurryman (talk) 22:27, 14 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
