Please if anybody could plot the coordinates 54.8017° N, 7.6429° W

Merge

I propose to merge the Liscooley and Liscooly titles. I propose this as:

1. The Liscooley article appears to assert that the "hamlet" of Liscooley and the townland of Liscooly are somehow distinct and separate things. There is no evidences or sources to support this assertion. In fact, none of the sources in the article refer to Liscooley (or Liscooly) as a "hamlet". (While, in Britain, a "hamlet" may refer to a small settlement, typically smaller than a village (and traditionally referring to village that isn't big enough to have its own church), there is no convention for this term in Ireland. And none of the sources appear to support the suggestion Liscooley should be described as one.)
2. All of the WP:MERGEREASONs apply. Both titles largely replicate each other (both stating that Liscooley is a part of Killygordon town/village/electoral division, both stating that the N15 passes through, both covering the same bridges/train station/bus stops, both listing the same bordering townlands, and both covering the same "Byrne's shop" (petrol station) that marks the subject place as distinct from the surrounding area. (In addition to duplicating/overlapping each other, each title requires context from the other. And, as it stands, treating them separately is just confusing. Or, frankly, misleading. As each implies a distinct legal or practical or geographic separation from the other - when there is no indication that that is the case).
3. Convention, for effectively every other populated townland in Ireland, is that any buildings/small settlement/whatever within that townland is dealt with in the article on that townland. Not under an artificially separated title.

Hi. RE:

• "Merged". OK.
• "Undo". Don't "undo" this title. Per the WP:MERGE "How to merge" guidelines, the merged title should become a redirect. It shouldn't be deleted or "undone". (Not least because its history should be retained in order to "attribute copied content, as required by Wikipedia's license". See WP:MERGE.)
