Proposed biography update and correction to 2012 election date.

[edit]

I am employed by Curtis & Co. Law Firm in an IT role. Lisa K. Curtis asked me to propose this update to her article.

I propose replacing the article prose with the text below while retaining the existing infobox. The current article gives little space to Curtis's legal career and other work, and its career section incorrectly dates her election loss to November 2013 rather than November 2012. The proposal retains her Senate service and 2026 candidacy. I am requesting review by an editor without my connection to the subject rather than editing the article directly.

'''Lisa K. Curtis''' is an American attorney and business owner in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the founding partner of Curtis & Co. Law Firm and a former member of the New Mexico Senate. In 2026, she became the Democratic candidate for New Mexico House District 31.<ref name="bar">{{cite web |title=New Inductees to the Roehl Circle of Honor Lisa K. Curtis and Edward “Ned” W.
