[edit]The article says: 'Halliday argues that, unlike system in the sense in which it was used by Firth was a conception only found in Firth’s linguistic theory'. That doesn't make sense (perhaps an 'it' needs to be inserted after 'was used by Firth'?). Brian Josephson (talk) 09:40, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that it would make sense even then. The sentence I cited was present in the original form of the article, and hasn't been changed at all since then. Brian Josephson (talk) 09:51, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
