Limenios or Limēnios?

[edit]

According to the inscription on the stone at Delphi, the composer of the 2nd Delphic hymn was not Λιμενιος but Λιμηνιος (Pöhlmann & West (2001), Documents of Ancient Greek Music, p. 75). Does anyone know why the spelling Λιμενιος is used here? Kanjuzi (talk) 14:44, 15 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps User:Omnipaedista, the editor who added the Greek form of the name in this edit in 2014, can tell us the source?—Jerome Kohl (talk) 15:59, 15 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
