Omniweb

[edit]

OmniWeb says that Lighthouse Design released that browser. I think a reference to OmniWeb article should be added. FedericoMP 01:10, 24 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

NPOV

The article reads more as an essay than an entry in an Encyclopedia. "Java's GUI libraries were a pale imitation of those in OpenStep" maybe correct, but way to colorful for an encyclopedic article.--Per Abrahamsen 14:38, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Tried to fix up the language to make it more neutral, but it still reads as an essay. BTW, my POV is that Sun never seriously considered marketing Lighthouse's software, the purchase was more of a mercy killing after they changed directions to Java. 64.171.162.76 04:50, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Some interesting discussion on the demise of Lighthouse (and Java) here. —66.32.161.144 04:39, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
