Apparently, the interesting properties of plexiglass/acrylic were made known to a wider audience by the article "Piping Light With Acrylic Materials", by Henry Pearson, in the journal Modern Plastics, August 1946, page 127. Based on it is the Swedish article "Ledning av ljus med plexiglas", by Bengt Oom, in the engineering journal Teknisk Tidskrift, 10 May 1947, page 426. --LA2 (talk) 22:23, 14 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
