They are all accurate and relevant to the history of Libya. Tenfoldsultan (talk) 10:46, 26 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

North Africa

[edit]

There is a discussion at Talk:North_Africa#Recent_additions_(January_2026) that could do with more input. Thanks. M.Bitton (talk) 16:06, 1 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Change "Despite having one of the lowest income per capita figures globally, it also suffered from one of the highest illiteracy rates." to "The kingdom suffered from a combination of one of the highest illiteracy rates and the one of the lowest income per capita rates globally."

The two factors do not contradict one another. Marsbat (talk) 18:49, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Update 2026 GDP estimate

[edit]

Please update Libya's nominal GDP figure in the infobox using the IMF World Economic Outlook 2026 projection.

Suggested change:

  • GDP nominal: US$52.45 billion
  • GDP nominal year: 2026
  • GDP growth: 6.7%

Source: "World Economic Outlook Database: Libya". International Monetary Fund. Retrieved 7 May 2026.

Rationale: The current GDP figure appears outdated. The IMF World Economic Outlook database is a standard source for country GDP estimates on Wikipedia. Since 2026 is still a projection, the figure should be presented as an estimate/projection rather than a finalized actual figure.
