LibUSBX was a 'hostile fork' of LibUSB, and the forkers thought it a good idea to rename their project to overlap with the original. Much to the confusion of users. There was a new homepage for LibUSBX: libusb.info, that stated (incorrectly, for a long time) that libusb.org was 'dead'.
