I thought I'd marked my COI on the talk page, but I apparently didn't. I'm adding this here. My edits have typically been to add very small bits about the major projects that haven't been mentioned in the article previously. You can see these edits here, here, and here. • I also suppose this means I can work on creating an article for Sandra Treadway without guilt. She definitely passes NACADEMIC and NAUTHOR. The Librarian of Virginia is a position held at the state level, so she'd probably qualify for WP:NPOL as well. The position would qualify for #5 of NACADEMIC most certainly. • Find It Virginia (official research tool) — (statewide databases and resources) would be a more accurate description
• Virginia Memory (digital collections) — The Virginia Memory site has been deleted. Digital Collections are now on the main website at
• The UncommonWealth: Voices from the Library of Virginia (blog) — Please capitalize the W in UncommonWealth
• Document Bank of Virginia — Please update URL to
• Multiple Exposure: Catablog of the Prints and Photographs Collection at the Library of Virginia (blog) — Multiple Exposure has been deleted. The information is now in catalog records, webpages, or UncommonWealth blog entries.

I made some of your updates, but not others. Per MOS, an organization should only have one link to its website in the External Link section. Therefore, several of the items that had been included needed to be removed. Also, we do not typically include descriptions for the external links. That slides toward promotion, which is not appropriate for Wikipedia. Rublamb (talk) 09:10, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

Thanks for these updates! If possible, there is also a link to an article from 2010 about an exhibition (Rodman, Debra H.) which can be removed. That exhibit was only up during that year and is very outdated. Users should just view the main Library of Virginia website to determine what exhibition(s) are on display.
