Limited Usage Of "Library acquisitions"

[edit]

The list of functions, going far beyond just getting books, seems to be a goodly trawl or from a desperate teaching institution's syllabus (or both). "Library acquisitions" may be the name of a less public office in some libraries but not all libraries have a department named that, for example The British Library.--SilasW (talk) 17:07, 16 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Interest groups and national orgs

[edit]

I recommend ALCTS Acquisitions Section (USA) and National Acquisitions Group (UK) are added to this article - plus any other similar international groups Rhagfyr (talk) 01:10, 23 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
