Clarifications

[edit]

Is Lijiang River 100 km long or 437 km long? Shouldn't the word "the" in "Along the 100 km..." be "a" ? --165.201.59.205 18:40, 17 March 2005 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't it be the "Li River", since "Jiang" is the Chinese word for "river"? --207.255.190.30 03:23, 25 March 2005 (UTC)Reply

My understanding is that "Li River" can refer to either Lishui River or Lijiang River. The Li River page is a disambiguation page. --Kralizec! 20:55, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Isn't this where Doom: Knee Deep in the Dead was filmed? Volcabbage 05:59, 5 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Li River, Guangxi

[edit]

River Li is not per convention. See Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(Chinese)#Topographical. The Li River article is a disambig page. This article following the above convention, is now Li River, Guangxi. This is more clear and distinct in line with current naming standards. Visik (talk) 08:59, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
